A rare opportunity exists to join Brooklyn Station as Overseer, offering the chance to step into a position with genuine responsibility and a clear pathway into management.
Situated on the outskirts of Lucindale and spanning 3,800 hectares, Brooklyn Station is a well-run enterprise managing 20,000 (non-mulesed) Merino sheep and approximately 700 Angus cattle. We are seeking a high-performing Senior Station Hand who is ready to take the next step into junior management and build a long-term career within our business.
This is more than just an Overseer position - it is a development pathway into management. You will work closely with management and gain exposure to planning and operational decision-making, staff supervision and leadership, along with increasing responsibility and autonomy as you grow in the role. Half of our current managers started as Overseers within our business, demonstrating our strong focus on internal progression.
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven experience across all aspects of station work (sheep & cattle)
- Competence and confidence operating 2-wheeled motorbikes
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team
- Well-trained working dog/s
- A genuine desire to step into leadership
