Ashmore Station is located a short drive from the picturesque seaside towns of Kingston SE and Robe in South Australia.

We're looking for a Station Hand with at least 6 months' practical experience working with sheep or cattle. We're after someone who enjoys getting stuck into farm life, takes pride in their work and values being part of a great team.

What you'll be doing

No two days are the same, but your work will include:

• Sheep and cattle husbandry
• Mustering using motorbikes and working dogs
• Fencing, water runs and general station maintenance
• Animal health and livestock handling
• Operating station plant and equipment safely
• Working as part of a close-knit team to get the job done

What we're looking for

You don't need decades of experience, but you do need to know your way around livestock and farm work.

Ideally you'll have:

• At least six months' experience working with sheep or cattle on a commercial farm or station
• A genuine interest in livestock and agriculture
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• A team-first attitude and enjoy working alongside others
• A current motorbike licence (preferred). If you don't have one, you'll need to demonstrate solid experience and confidence riding two-wheeled motorbikes
• Working dogs are welcome
• A current driver's licence
• At least one reference from your previous employer.
