Tasks and Responsibilities
- Handle and move livestock safely between paddocks and yards.
- Ensure the welfare of all stock in line with company and industry best practice.
- Participate in animal health and husbandry programs.
- Inspect and report on livestock and pasture conditions.
- Maintain accurate digital records using AgriWebb.
- Assist with all key livestock processes including shearing, crutching, lamb marking, and weaning.
- Maintain and repair fences, equipment, and water systems.
- Operate farm machinery and vehicles as required.
Skills and Experience
Hands-on experience in a similar livestock role essential but we are also looking for our new employee to demonstrate enthusiasm, initiative, and a willingness to learn. We’re keen to hear from people looking to build a long-term career with us.
You will:
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Be reliable, organised, and able to work independently when required.
- Be physically fit and ready to give 100%.
- Hold a valid driver’s licence (P’s minimum).
- Be competent on two-wheeled motorbikes; a licence is preferred.
- Bring working dogs—up to two are welcome and supported.
