Our sheep station, Yudnapinna, has a vacancy for a Station Hand to join the team.

Part of a small team of 3, you'll participate in all aspects of running the property, including:

  • Mustering
  • Animal husbandry
  • General maintenance of infrastructure
  • Water runs

We are looking for someone with the following attributes and skills:

  • Working knowledge of sheep, however foregoing this, previous employment or training in a relevant trade would be highly regarded.
  • An understanding of the role and living in regional/remote locations.
  • Enjoys the great outdoors in all weather.
  • Able to undertake manual, and sometimes heavy, work.
  • A positive 'can-do" attitude.
  • Self-motivated to complete tasks thoroughly and independently.
  • Competence in riding two-wheeled motorbikes and hold a motorbike license (or be prepared to obtain one). A car drivers license is essential.
