Station Hand
Location: Braemar
Job type: Full-time, Permanent - not suitable for WHV holders
This is a rare opportunity to work at one of our most iconic stations, and the very place where the McBride story began – Faraway Hill.
We’re looking for someone with pastoral experience, confident riding two-wheeled motorbikes, and willing to roll up their sleeves across the many tasks that come with station life. Maintenance skills and machinery experience will be highly regarded.
The position offers single, self-contained accommodation, a competitive salary, and the chance to work in a supportive team environment. Located close to the township of Burra, you can enjoy the best of both worlds – doing the work you love while still having easy access to town amenities.
If you’re looking for a role where no two days are the same, where your skills are valued, and where you can be part of a proud pastoral legacy, we’d love to hear from you.
Please complete the form below (remembering to attach your updated resume) OR send your resume outlining your experience to Aida Ashworth, People & Culture Manager at aida@mcbride.com.au.
Please note that suitable candidates will be expected to provide at least one reference from their most recent employer. Only permanent Australian residents with full working rights will be considered for this permanent role.
